Beautiful villa with neat and clean rooms thanks elivaas

I recently celebrated my birthday at this place, and while the first part of our stay went well, the experience turned negative the next morning because of how the management handled the check-out process. To start with the good things: the property is great for hosting events, and Bhairu, the caretaker on site, was very helpful, polite, and quick to respond during our stay. His attitude made us feel taken care of, and we really appreciated his efforts. However, things went downhill when the management decided to take the entire security deposit (which was given in cash, without any proper receipt or clear explanation of where it was kept). The reason given was a broken bottle and smoking inside the property. While we understand the need to keep the place in good condition, the charges seemed unfair and too much. What really upset us was that there was no sign or clear information about a no-smoking rule anywhere in the property. When we asked, we were told the rule was mentioned in the "house rules," which were only given to the person who booked the property. In a place where a group is staying, it's not practical or fair to expect everyone to have read such rules unless they are clearly displayed on-site. This kind of property is meant for group stays and celebrations—something that's reflected in the higher price. Some level of wear and tear is natural in such settings and should be considered part of the cost. But to impose blanket penalties after the stay, without clear communication or transparency, feels more like an attempt to take money after the fact rather than enforcing rules properly. In summary, while the property has potential and the on-site staff like Bhairu are great, the lack of clear communication and the unprofessional handling by the management team was disappointing. I hope the hosts take this feedback seriously and in the future focus more on being transparent and friendly to guests, especially regarding rules and security deposits.

Great experience here for food/ service and rooms! Thanks sandeep for amazing hospitality!!

Wonderful time at this beautiful property in the outskirts of Jaipur. The entire villa is very tastefully done and you’re sure to have a luxurious vacation. Big shout out to Elivaas team for handling everything so seamlessly and the best part was the care taker of the property, Bharu Lal who was at our service the entire time with a lovely smile and full on Rajasthani hospitality traits! 10/10!!

What a luxury Stay At Kanota Retreat! I’ve stayed here for 2 days and totally loved the hospitality & food. Vibes at this place is totally unmatchable. Away from city’s hustle bustle amidst nature & mountains. Perfectly designed rooms & bathrooms. Amazing food by chef & its highly recommended just 10kms away from Jaipur City Centre.
