Best location closest to the best gate of the reserve Tala gate. Belongs to the royal family of Rewa. It was their old hunting lodge. Has the oldest Banyan tree. Best way to reach is to land in Rewa or Jabalpur. Food is very good. The staff is good and very efficient. Service is prompt. Best place to stay if u want to see tigers.

I had a very disappointing experience at this resort. The room conditions were far below expectations despite the high cost. We booked 3 rooms at ₹2900 each, but the facilities and service did not justify the price. The rooms had a strong smell of fresh painting, making us uncomfortable to stay in. There was no geyser in the washroom, which was very inconvenient. During the rain, water was dripping from the ceiling, clearly showing poor maintenance. The room and bathroom doors' did not lock properly form inside, raising safety concerns. The K-series rooms are very old and poorly maintained. On top of that, the service was very poor. Overall, this resort charges a premium but delivers low-quality facilities and poor service. Definitely not worth the money.

Everything about our stay at Maharaja Kothi Resort was very good. The location is perfect. It is walking distance for Magadhi gate of tiger safari. During morning safari they packed us breakfast with hot water. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the food was delicious. We were especially impressed by the room service and the staff; they are professional, helpful, and very friendly. A great choice for anyone looking for quality service!
