This hotel is opposite side of swargadwara, so if you want to have a horrible experience, then you can stay here. The hotel is completely dirty and the room is also very dirty, the bedsheet is also very dirty, I felt like the bedsheet was changed maybe 10 years ago. The staff working there are also completely careless and misbehave with the tourists. So I request everyone not to go here. Amazing stay! The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. Highly recommend

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The rooms were filthy, and it seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. The bedsheets were unchanged, stained, and smelled horrible. The entire place was unhygienic, with dust and dirt in every corner. There was no proper sanitation, and the bathroom was disgusting-broken fixtures, dirty floors, and a foul smell that made it unbearable to use. To make things even worse, the hotel is located right next to a cremation ground, something that was NOT mentioned in the listing. The eerie surroundings and constant smell of burning left us feeling extremely uncomfortable throughout the stay. The staff was completely unprofessional and unresponsive. When we raised concerns about the unhygienic conditions, they were rude and dismissive. The environment was clumsy, disorganized, and depressing. There was no sense of hospitality or customer service at all. The pictures shown online were highly misleading. The reality was far from what was promised. Even the basic amenities were missing, and the overall atmosphere was unbearable. DO NOT waste your money on this hotel. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place unless you want to ruin your trip. Stay away!

Room quality was not good I want to have a single bed room that is not available in that hotel and ac rooms are not available also he charged me 700 for one night I booked at 9:00 p.m. some how he gave me I am solo strip person and single people can't get room in Puri I was struggling over there to have a room some how that see dream lodge show me a room that was not appropriate I just wanted to spend my night peacefully I was exhausted somehow I spend the night over their room is dirty other floor toilet pipe is hanging out from my room that was so nasty bathroom was not good I just survive over there not enjoyed that much because of the room I asked him for 2 bedroom AC room but he said there is no room available but other customer arrived at the lodge he gave them rooms but not me I don't think I am going to Puri again I can go to visit Jagannath temple but not to wonder Puri as a place who is awesome but somehow people are in there are not very pleasing and well behaved towards other my personal experience I am not telling that everyone is bad and everyone experience is bad but mine was not very good I just want to forget that memory.

Unprofessional, hidden charges for AC, No amenities provided in Room While booking in (Hotel Sea Dream Lodge Puri) it is not mentioned anywhere which room is AC and which is non-AC. It only mentions double bed standard room. I have booked a standard room with 1 double bed for two days. The room fare cost me around 1200 rupees including taxes along with the special request through AGODA SITE at the time of booking – “I would like a non-smoking room” and “I would like a large bed”. The hotel also charges additional Rs 72 at the time of check-in. While, reaching the property, the property owner demands another Rs. 1000 extra per day for uses of AC in that room. Very pathetic situation. Property was very very close to Puri Swargdwar (place of cremation). When we opened the window, dusty haze from cremation point was coming from outside. The room was suffocating. Further basic facility like Mineral Water, Cleaned bedsheet, TV with Cable and bathroom kit was also not provided by the Hotel Sea Dream Lodge. Guests are forced to return Hotel latest by 11 PM Night otherwise gate will be closed as said by the owner. Lizard and ant was also moving in the room. By Virtue of geographical location of the property, only AC category rooms should be available for booking. Non-AC rooms should not be marked as available with such hidden charges. During the market survey, I found out that this is the common practice of this hotel. Hotel Sea Dream Lodge always plays tricky games with guests for using AC and demands extra money apart from the booking amount. I would give this property a very poor rating and I would not recommend it to anyone. The facility provided by the property owner is very unprofessional. I request AGODA and other booking platforms to block/ban this property from their sites permanently.
