Don’t depend on the food here. they get food from outside and it’s very limited. For 13 members they were serving rotis equivalent to 6 members. They agreed to provide idli but last minute idli was not available. Then we were given puri and upma as option. Puri was provided in plastic red bucket. All the puri got stained with bucket color. Upma was edible but was not mixed well. Caretaker won’t arrange anything in advance like coffee in the morning. We need to call him then he takes 30 mins to make. no tissues provided at the dinner table. We asked for 3 boiled eggs from caretaker. He gave them half boiled. Kids couldn’t consume. Dinner we asked for paneer tikka, he got from outside and charged 750. It had no salt or any spice. They didn’t even provide any chutney. About the only rooms, we came with 11 other members. Not all the rooms were in same place. One room was stinky. bathroom was not usable. Also owner misguided saying water fall is in his property which is not. There were cheaper option than this. Just because of waterfall we took it. They say they have wifi. First day , their data was over and caretaker didn’t even care to recharge even after complaining. Next day I had to complain owner only then it had. We have been so many homestay but this was worst from service and food point of view.

Nethra Estate is a lovely property with great service and a cosy location. Reaching the property was quite adventurous with a hidden valley view. The owner was very friendly to share his experience on starting his journey with the coffee estate and he gave us fruits, flower cuttings to carry home . Food was tasty and home made with natural homegrown spices and veggies. Even my 6 year old son enjoyed and liked the food. Our room had a great view with a glass patio . We went for an estate walk in the morning accompanied by a caretaker , we spotted some peacocks also. There is a small waterfall which is so clean and empty near the estate to enjoy thoroughly just with your people around . Thanks to estate owner and Faizal for great hospitality. Will visit again for sure.

A wonderful homestay nestled amidst a deep dense coffee plantation, away from the city, away from chaos, deep inside nature, with beautiful chirping birds to wake you up to watch the morning sunrise. There is also a waterfall close by for a refreshing dip. It's a home away from home. The owners live in the property and make sure one has a lovely comfortable stay. They have a caretaker to cater to all the needs. Local home cooked food is also available on prior intimation. We had a lovely stay at this property for two nights, the tourist spots are also around the place so it's perfect to have a relaxing stay and also do a little sightseeing if you wish.....

If there was six i would rate it 6. Highly satisfied with the stay. Owner made us feel like home. Worth the stay. Care taker too made us so comfortable. Any one searching to stay in Coorg please book without second thought.
