Recently stayed at Keys on January 29th and was really looking forward to a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the Air Conditioner in my room didn't work at all! Despite reporting the problem to the front desk multiple times, the issue wasn't resolved. The room was sweltering hot, making it difficult to sleep or even relax. For a hotel of this caliber, I expect a basic amenity like Air Conditioning to be functioning properly. The staff's inability to resolve this issue promptly was disappointing. Since there was no response we called again and again demanding for another room. Finally at 3 am in the morning we got to shift to a different room. It was extremely uncomfortable and frustrating.

Disappointing Experience at a Keys Select Hotel in Cochin My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one night, and unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. While the Lemon Tree brand is known for heartfelt service, some employees, particularly at the breakfast restaurant, appeared lethargic and lacked basic training. The front office team was excellent and met the standard you’d expect from a Select Hotel. However, the F&B department was poorly managed. There were numerous lapses in basics and clear signs of inadequate training. Some examples: Crumbs were brushed onto the floor as staff casually wiped tables without using a plate to catch the mess. The buffet area was messy, with food particles, chutneys, and sambar splattered across the platforms. Broken flatware, stained cups, and tables with leftover food particles were common sights. Guests had to seat themselves as there was no one to escort or assist them. The team’s grooming also needs serious attention. While the brand positions itself with modest expectations, a focus on details could greatly elevate the guest experience. The only highlight of my stay was a well-made paper dosa, which was delicious. This property would benefit immensely from senior management stepping in to provide structured training and instill better operational standards.

Stay on 31st January 2025 The hotel was booked by Veena World. Overall Experience – Comfortable Stay My stay was comfortable, with a clean room and good food. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. Missing Basic Amenities – But Not a Major Issue Despite being a 4-star hotel, some basic amenities like a dental kit, shower cap, Hair dryer and hand towel/napkin were missing. However, this did not impact my stay much, as the overall comfort and service made up for it. Overall – A Pleasant Stay While the hotel could improve by providing all expected amenities, my stay was still enjoyable, thanks to the cleanliness, food, and great service.

Room was booked by Veena world. It's the worst room stay I ever had. First alloted room was having many issues - room telephone not working, no drinking water provided in room, the sliding bath door was not functioning properly it was opening again n again. No trash bags in dust bina. No lids on trash bins. After complaining twice they shifted in another room which AC was not functioning properly. I do not recommend this hotel. If there were negative ratings I would have given that too. Food menu for 4 star equivalent midscale hotel was also very poor. No professional approach in any of the staff.

The room and bathroom were really clean and the service was good. The complimentary buffet breakfast had a variety of options and the food was delicious. The chef and the staff were quite welcoming and wonderful. Overall a nice experience.
