Disappointing Experience – Poor Management and Service I had high hopes for my stay at Vibe Hotel in Munnar, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite a letdown. First, I was initially allotted a room with a great view, but shortly after, they shifted me to another room citing some vague "issues" with the first one. They never clarified what the problem was, and to me, the original room seemed perfectly fine. The new room, however, had clear issues—most notably, the AC wasn’t functioning properly, making my stay uncomfortable. And let’s not even talk about the view—it was nowhere near as good as the one I was originally given. To make matters worse, the front office staff were unpleasant and completely incompetent. Their attitude was indifferent, and they didn’t seem to care about guest satisfaction at all. The rest of the staff, barring one or two exceptions, were also extremely unprofessional. Most of them appeared disinterested and even depressed, which made me wonder if they were being treated or paid well by the management. Their lack of enthusiasm and attentiveness added to the overall unpleasant experience. The property itself has great potential, but it’s clear that the management has no idea how to run it properly. Honestly, this place feels more like a five-star lodge than a true luxury hotel. The only saving grace was that the food was alright, but that alone isn’t enough to make up for the poor service and mismanagement. This could have been a memorable and wonderful stay, but instead, it was reduced to just 'a stay.' I wouldn’t recommend this place unless major improvements are made.

My family had a great staycation for a short period which we longed. Facilities and service provided by the team was astonishing and much appreciated. The staffs responded to all our requests within split seconds. 🤩 • Staffs welcomed us with a smile and the check in was so smooth that it took only 5 minutes to be in the room. • Rooms were spacious with neat cots and all the necessary amenities were available. • Restaurant offers a wide breakfast buffet options with live counters which serves tasty food. • Restaurant served complimentary tea and snacks which were so good to chill with the family. • Roof top pool was so clean and big enough, clean towels were provided. • Valet service provided by the team is well organized. • Many in house activities were available like cycling, board games etc. 🙁 • Dinner buffet was not available on the day of our stay which was a disappointment, as we wanted to experience the chefs tasty food. Ala carte option was available. • Ongoing construction nearby was a bit of a distraction but did not affect our stay.

An amazing place that will be truly peaceful once the construction work is complete. The property is beautiful, clean, and luxurious, with attentive staff who enhance the experience. However, I was disappointed when the reception offered a complimentary massage, only to find out upon arrival that no such offer existed. It felt like a misleading gesture.

Despite the resort being understaffed during my visit, every team member went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. In fact, I had a small issue when I first arrived — my room was missing a bath curtain. I contacted the front desk around 11 PM, and despite the late hour, they immediately arranged for a room change without hesitation. Their quick response and willingness to make things right left a lasting impression on me. The serene atmosphere of the resort combined with its beautiful surroundings truly made my stay special. I felt at home, and every small gesture from the staff made it even more memorable. I highly recommend Vibe Munnar Resort and Spa to anyone visiting the area.
