Additionally, "standard" amenities like dental kits and bathrobes—which are explicitly listed in the booking—were missing from the room. Claiming these are only available "on demand" after the fact is misleading. These conditions should be clearly noted in the fine print. While the physical stay was adequate, the service inconsistencies are unacceptable. The fundamental failure of this hotel lies in its unpredictable service model during low occupancy. For a traveler, a 7:30 AM buffet is scheduled. When the hotel replaces this with "alternate arrangements" without prior notice, it forces the guest to waste time navigating a new process. Valuing a customer’s time is the bare minimum of hospitality. Furthermore, amenities like dental kits and robes—advertised as standard—should not be "on demand" surprises. A stay here is acceptable, but the management’s lack of planning is a significant burden.

Review: Vits Lonavala – Great Value and Peaceful Location Vits Lonavala offers an extremely reasonable price point for a stay that delivers solid amenities and a wonderfully peaceful location. While there were a couple of minor service hiccups and room maintenance issues, the stay was overall positive, largely thanks to the excellent customer service provided by key staff members. Location & Parking The location is a major highlight. Situated on the old Mumbai Pune highway near Mapro, the hotel is perfectly positioned away from the typical Lonavala traffic congestion, making arrival and departure smooth. There is ample parking space available. For convenience, several medical stores, Kirana stores, a trampoline park, and various restaurants are easily accessible nearby. Rooms and Cleanliness The room was, for the most part, neat and tidy. Major areas like the bed, curtains, and furniture were speckless. However, we did notice some patches that required better cleaning, specifically on the single sofa cum bed, which had some dust. A small improvement in cleaning consistency would make the rooms truly impeccable. Amenities and Recreation The hotel provides great options for leisure. My son thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool. My wife and I also appreciated having a table tennis table and a carrom board for indoor fun. The current indoor games are a great start, but the addition of a few more options like a Foosball table, Pool table, and Chess set would significantly enhance the recreational offerings for guests. Service and Staff Shoutouts The staff performance was a tale of two halves. The majority of the staff was average, but two individuals provided truly exceptional service: Siddhi (Receptionist): She provided impeccable customer service. Varsha (Serving Staff): Her service was beyond expectation. These two members truly elevated the experience with their attentiveness and helpfulness. One area for improvement in service is the basic amenities at night: the hotel did not serve chilled water in the evening. Making arrangements to ensure chilled water is available 24/7 would greatly improve guest comfort. Summary Vits Lonavala is an excellent budget-friendly option, scoring high on value, location, and key recreational amenities. The cleanliness, while generally good, needs minor attention, and better evening service for chilled water is recommended. We would recommend Vits Lonavala, especially due to the great value and the memorable service from Siddhi and Varsha.

Exceptional Hospitality and Warm Service at VITS, Lonavala I recently stayed at VITS, Lonavala, and I must say that the restaurant staff truly made my experience memorable. Every meal was served with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. The team was courteous, always greeting guests with a smile, and ensured that we felt comfortable and well looked after. A special mention to the restaurant staff - Barsa, Manasvi, Swara & Shadab who were prompt with service, attentive to dietary preferences, and went out of their way to make dining a pleasant experience. The food was delicious and served fresh every time — a perfect complement to the relaxing atmosphere of the resort. It’s rare to find such a combination of good food and genuinely caring service. Kudos to the entire restaurant team at VITS, Lonavala, for their dedication and hospitality. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

"Absolutely delighted stay in VITS" Booked Deluxe King room..Loved the hospitality by the entire staff led by Siddhi and Tushar ( both at reception and are very hard working people). Thanks Siddhi for complimentary breakfast. You made our stay even wonderful. We were asked on what can be improved further - trust me except the weak signal of wifi in the outer room I had nothing to say :). The breakfast served in the basement restaurant is delicious with very warm people cooking and serving fresh meals to you. The chefs cook home like food. If you are staying in VITS - must opt with food. We surely RECOMMEND VITS Lonavala.

VITS is nice place to stay and my children enjoyed a lot there. They played well here in swimming pool and in gaming zone in cafeteria area. We had dinner and breakfast included in my plan and the dinner and breakfast is amazing. We enjoyed a lot. The staff are so cooperative. Varsha, Swara and Shubham they are cafeteria staff member they took care very nicely. My children enjoyed even they wanted to stay one more day an and they supported a lot. Room is very nice clean. Food is good with good quality.
