Great location, very calm and serene. A bit expensive though. There were a lot of power disruptions during our stay. So there was no hot water (although the staff did say that they could arrange for the same) Food was ok. It could be a lot better

Disappointing Experience: Unsympathetic Response to Unforeseen Circumstances I am writing to express my profound disappointment and dissatisfaction with the recent experience me and my husband had with this resort. Two days prior to our scheduled booking, we encountered a tragic accident. In the spirit of transparency, we promptly informed both the owner and the staff providing them with photographic evidence of the unfortunate incident. Our intention was to explore the possibility of rescheduling or, if necessary, a refund due to the extenuating circumstances. To our dismay, the response we received was far from considerate. The owner and staff conveyed a disheartening lack of empathy, stating that our situation was not their concern. When we inquired about the possibility of rescheduling for a later date, we were informed that the resort was fully booked. The only alternative date offered was inconvenient for us, making it logistically challenging to travel. This experience has left us deeply dissatisfied and frustrated. Losing the entire booking amount of 6000 without any attempt at finding a reasonable solution has, unfortunately, tarnished our perception of your establishment. While we understand that policies are in place to manage reservations, we believe that a situation involving a tragic accident should be approached with greater compassion and flexibility. The lack of understanding and willingness to accommodate our circumstances has left a lasting negative impression. A more compassionate and customer-centric approach during challenging times would undoubtedly enhance the reputation of the resort.

We 4 adults stayed here for 2 days paying 11k per day for a cottage that is absolutely worthless. Charging such huge amount for a place that does not even have 10 percent of the facilities that other hotels could offer. No proper power supply, no network, no Wi-Fi range, no hot water. You cannot charge double the room tariff just because you have additional 2 adults. This is pure exploitation of money from customers. I paid 22k for 2 days which is just waste of money. Since you don’t have any other option for food at this place, you will have to use their own home kitchen. Food is just OK for the price they charge. The only good thing here is just the people who service you. Sunil and Koushik did their best. But, mere service would not help run this place. Owner needs to invest in providing basic facilities like continuous hot water supply (your boiler concept did not help at all), internet coverage. You need to change the pricing also. When 4 adults request for a cottage, you need to charge the base tariff for 2 adults and charge 500 for additional beds. Charging double the tariff is not good. If you want to stay at a place that’s very quiet and aloof from other crowded places, you can choose this place otherwise a big NO.

Notably, the cleanliness of the property was exemplary and the surroundings were well-maintained. Been to the nest in Dec 2023. It was a pleasant stay. The host Manju was very nice. The staffs Sunil, Chef Deb every one was very kind. They were ready to customise and attended to all our request. The place is located in deep interior, once your reach it's just the sound of birds and nature. It's a good place to relax
