Clean rooms, comfortable bedding, and a generally pleasant atmosphere made this a decent stay. The staff was polite and helpful, and check-in/check-out were smooth. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby areas. While the amenities were fairly basic and nothing stood out as exceptional, everything was functional and well maintained. Overall, a good value for the price and a reliable option for a comfortable, no-frills stay.

We stayed for 3 nights here(Sept 29, 30 and Oct 1, 2025) during our Manali Tour. Stay was excellent, rooms were tidy and clean. Location also was quite good although Manali is just reeling back to normal after the heavy rains. On Day - 2 were started early for our trip to Shinku La Top. The team at the hotel were kind enough to pack some sandwiches for our trip as we had to leave early and before breakfast hours. We didnt have to request for this support. The team was kind enough to offer this upfront and hence a special shoutout to the team at La Serene Valley for this kind gesture. We had an excellent stay here.

Very disappointing stay – definitely not a 4-star hotel I stayed at La Serene by DLS Hotels as part of a Shimla–Manali tour, and this property was the worst part of the trip. The hotel is advertised as a 4-star, but in reality it does not even meet basic 2-star standards. 1. Room heating was terrible After a full day in the cold, the hotel gave only a small ceramic heater that barely heats a corner of the room. Absolutely no comfort. When asked for a better heater, the staff gave excuses saying “all Manali hotels only have this,” which is not true — my Shimla hotel provided a proper oil heater. 2. Very poor food experience Breakfast and dinner buffets had extremely limited items. Even though we paid for a package including non-veg meals, no non-veg was provided unless we specifically asked, and even then only one small portion was given. When we requested a second serving, the staff behaved rudely as if we were asking for something extra and not something included in what we paid. 3. Staff behaviour needs serious improvement The attitude while serving food was irritating and unprofessional. It felt like they were doing us a favour instead of serving paying guests. 4. Not worth the money For a hotel claiming to be 4-star, the facilities, warmth, service, food quality and hospitality were far below expectations. Overall: A very uncomfortable and disappointing stay. Would not recommend this property to anyone visiting Manali.
