While my stay was generally pleasant, I would have appreciated a more varied dining menu at the on-site restaurant. Hotel in prime location , close to major tourist attractions. Hotel is good with good staff behaviour. The rooms are dull with old architecture. You can expect small bathroom in imperial room with very less convenience.

If you are looking for a 5star experience, definitely it is not a 5star hotel. I stayed there for a week the breakfast provided to us was almost same everyday. I was shocked to see that 5star hotel doesn't provide you with Hand wash😞 The food and laundry rates are very high which is not worth value for money. Hospitality is good. The bathroom doesn't have exhaust fans, so when you take shower be ready to see the small pond near your legs and the heavy AMT of fog in entire bathroom. Further, the washbasin doesn't have hot water tap. So overall, I can't say this is 5star hotel. But, if you are looking for great location then you can try..

We very much appreciated the warm hospitality and welcome of all the team. The restaurant team and housekeeping was excellent and we loved the breakfast and food in the restaurant. Service was very flexible and accommodating. Bed's are very comfortable. The location was ideal as we travelled with a group to discover Kolkata, you can just roam around on foot and discover the city. One litte remark : In our group one of the rooms could use an upgrade (the window was very blurred).

This hotel is cheating with putting wrong room description. I have booked for imperial room which shows description that it has 1 double bed and 1 single bed; and I have booked for 3 adults. But then room does not have same no of bed it has only one normal double bed only. Reception are rude with all arguments that you do with them. For every items you need to call twice to get it so service is also not at all good. Reception was doing argument with me at 2:45 am check in time in stead of giving me quick room and they took almost 20-25 min to arrange extra bed. I will not recommended this.
