I had a wonderful experience at Sarovar Hotel. The hospitality was truly excellent, and the staff made the stay very comfortable and welcoming. A special mention to Supervisor Rajdeep for his professionalism, polite behavior, and exceptional support throughout the stay. His attention to detail and caring attitude really stood out and made the experience even better. Highly appreciated and definitely recommended!

The stay was nice at the location and quite peaceful, the room was quite spacious. The housekeeping staff really took good care of the room and cleaned thoroughly leaving a good mark about Naseem, Abhijit & Somnath. The only problem was that the LED lights were not working and only the direct lights works apart from a foot light near the washroom.

Stay was good. Rooms are neat and clean and hotel maintain hygiene. Front desk staff Ms. Sayani and Ms. Parbish was very helpful and very professionally behaved. Over all its a nice experience to stay here.

They were always polite, attentive, and ensured that all my requests were handled promptly with a smile. I recently stayed at Sarovar Portico Kolkata, and my experience was mixed. The hotel property itself is good, but the pricing is extremely high—much more expensive than hotels near the airport (almost 4–5 times higher in my experience). Unfortunately, my biggest issue was with the sales and reservation department. While booking, I specifically requested a smoking room. The booking was accepted and payment was taken, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that it is a completely non-smoking property. This information should have been clearly communicated before confirming the booking. After payment, the response from the reservation/sales side felt very rude and unhelpful. However, I want to sincerely appreciate some of the staff who tried their best to help and maintain the hotel’s reputation. Ms. Sayani, Mr. Asish (Front Office), Mr. Shubendu, and Mr. Satya from the cleaning department were polite, supportive, and understood the meaning of true hospitality. They did their best to handle the situation and assist me despite the confusion. My suggestion to future guests: please double-check all details with the reservation department before paying, especially if you have specific requirements.
