Shady Hotel, Shadier Staff – Stay Away! From the moment we checked in yesterday, the experience was humiliating. The receptionist had the audacity to ask if our day-long booking was for an “hourly stay.” Extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. Things only got worse. The housekeeping staff lurked around our room (205) constantly, even late at night, and also made noise from the adjacent room — making the stay uncomfortable and intrusive. At checkout, one of them even directed unnecessary hellos and a smirky smile at my partner — absolutely inappropriate. The final straw came during checkout. We were made to sit for 20 minutes while the receptionist and another staff member (possibly the housekeeping manager) argued about minor laundry stains — likely from my partner’s period — and even chose to bring it up publicly in front of others. They demanded random “damage charges,” making the situation even more humiliating. This place doesn’t understand basic hospitality. Instead, they go out of their way to embarrass and harass guests. If you value respect, dignity, and peace of mind—avoid this hotel at all costs.

I recently stayed at Hotel Mumbai House and had an absolutely amazing experience. I had planned a surprise for my boyfriend during our stay, and I can’t thank the team enough for how cooperative and supportive they were throughout the process. They helped coordinate everything with such ease. Their in-house café has delicious food, with a great variety to choose from. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the ambiance of the hotel was lovely. I’m so glad I chose Hotel Mumbai House and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and heartwarming stay.

Stayed at Hotel Mumbai House Mindspace for almost a month and honestly, loved it. The staff is super polite and always on point - never had a single day of disappointment. Laundry, housekeeping, everything was done on time without me having to follow up. Big shoutout to the folks sitting at reception, the housekeeping team, the restaurant staff (sorry I don’t know all the names!) but I really, really appreciate the effort. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the view is pretty nice too. The location is peaceful, food is good. Clean, comfortable, and never a single disappointment. Definitely recommend!

I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel I have to because this hotel stay was one of the most stressful I’ve had, which is surprising and disappointing for a place that calls itself a 4-star hotel. To be fair, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and some of the staff were kind and did try to help. But despite that, the overall stay was filled with issues that made it exhausting rather than relaxing. The problems started after my first breakfast. They tried to charge me for it, even though it was clearly included in my reservation. I showed them the confirmation, but they still didn’t believe me and told me to contact Expedia. Why is it the guest’s job to sort out a problem in your system? Eventually it got resolved, but only after I spent time reaching out to Expedia so they could talk to the hotel directly. Completely unnecessary stress. Another morning, I wasn’t feeling well. I went downstairs for breakfast and simply asked if I could bring my plate upstairs to eat in peace. Not even room service — just taking my own breakfast to my room. They initially refused, and I had to insist and explain I wasn’t feeling well before they reluctantly agreed. Again — how is that the reaction from a 4-star hotel? If a guest says they’re sick, you should be accommodating, not difficult. Then came the weekend — the only days I could rest after a busy work week. I clearly indicated “Do Not Disturb” by putting up the sign and pressing the in-room DND button. Still, at 8:30 AM on Saturday, I got a call to tell me breakfast was being served. On a weekend. Why are you waking up guests who have asked not to be disturbed? I went down and kindly asked them not to do that again — yet on Sunday, it happened again. First, they called to ask me to return a pen I had borrowed (seriously?), and then housekeeping called to ask if I wanted the room cleaned. What exactly is unclear about "Do Not Disturb"? To top it off, I sent in some laundry — and some of my clothes went missing. Thankfully they were found at the very last moment before I checked out, but it added even more stress to an already frustrating experience. And even smaller things showed a lack of basic service. I cut myself and asked for a plaster (band-aid), and was told they didn’t have any “at the moment.” No basic first-aid in a hotel? Really? So yes, the rooms look nice. But this kind of care completely ruined the experience for me. I left more stressed than when I arrived

I stayed at this hotel for over a month in 2024. Overall, my experience was very good. The hotel is new, modern, clean, and well maintained. Rooms and facilities are comfortable, and the staff is kind. The only downside during my stay was that there were frequent events held almost every day. Because of this, there was a lot of moving around of chairs and tables, sometimes late at night or even close to early morning. It was quite disturbing for rest and sleep. On the positive side, the location is also convenient — there are many local street food options nearby, which made the stay even more enjoyable for person who love food. Apart from the event noise, it’s a great place to stay if you want a clean and modern hotel in the city. Hopefully the hotel can manage the event noise better in the future.
