The hotel is modern and well-maintained. I was impressed with the guest services; they were efficient and courteous. Special mention to Mr. Harish, the manager, who was always polite and extremely helpful. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next visit to Bangalore. This property functions as a basic, no-frills property that is only focused on payment collection. First, the entire stay amount was due upfront (even for a 9-night stay). This was not mentioned on Booking. Their company website and Booking listing is full of stock photos which doesn’t reflect reality. Then, when I ordered 2 items from their in-room dining, they charged my card before I could even eat the food. The order is outsourced to some restaurant down the road, and one of the dishes was basically inedible (the chicken pizza). Even the manager agreed it was awful. They said they would void the entire order and I am still waiting for the total refund to post to my account. But for the remaining 4-5 days including at check-out, they kept hounding me to pay for the second dish (which I had already paid for but the refund hadn’t posted yet). The kitchen cabinets were falling apart and had barely any supplies for a 9-night stay. Even mugs and forks and glasses - they gave me 1-2 which meant constant washing (and nothing provided to wash them with). The balcony had no furniture to sit on. The bathroom was basic with paint peeling. Hot water was not sufficient. Overall, a disappointing stay.

Clean rooms, very polite and helpful staff attentive to all requests, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Decent breakfast buffet. Was happy stay once again.

Booked last moment and had to pay around 4.5 k for the room which is still fine. Got allotted a room which is quite basic with a faulty Ac which doesn’t have cooling. Made us pay 700 rs(the full price of the bed sheet) at checkout because i had spilled a bit of curry on the bed sheet, which could easily be removed by dry cleaning ( which the hotel is supposed to do after a guest checks out). Overall bad experience at the place. Won’t be visiting again. Never had such issues with other locations of the same property.

I had an exceptional stay at Olive Hotel Magrath! Everything was perfect—from the friendly and attentive staff to the clean, comfortable rooms and well-maintained amenities. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience and will definitely return on my next visit
