Just finished a Rs 300/plate unlimited quantity lunch. Notwithstanding the small quantity served and the embarrassment of asking for more, we asked for ice cream. We were served one Casatta iceceam MRP 50, but billed for 2 @Rs 65 per quantity. Upon pointing out, we were told reversing this charge is cumbersome. We then had no option but to settle to take another Casatta which we did not want. As for the 15 extra charge over per quantity *2, the Manager paid us in cash. It did not leave a good taste for all of us, incl the manager

i go here for breakfast out of muscle memory pf 90s. then the place used to be buzzing during breakfast time with full house, discussing ideas, policies, policies… the go to place once for vegetarians from tamil nadu i guess. now it is a shade of the past, the location is still the best, if you want to have simple leisurely breakfast then this is the place, nothing fancy, affordable pricing for the buffet at 300 Rs. you feel the warmth in the welcome of the toothless old supervisor, the furniture is old class with insignia, the restaurant has a “seen it all” feel about it, the waiter serves and disappears into the background discreetly with a old world charm and yet observant enough to query “1 more coffee?” at the exact moment the thought occurs in my mind. thats experience and insight. food is safe and unpretentiously simple. spread is limited,but good. toilets are clean and have the most luxurious flooring i have seen anywhere in india. if you are in the town for business meetings and prefer veg breakfast, this is the peaceful place to collect your thoughts, make notes and prepare for the day. and the coffee is superb!

Wonderful South Indian dining experience. They are still maintaining that old heritage through building architecture, truly South Indian hospitality. Food is too good to resist. Proper and no-nonsense full South Indian thali served and enjoyed. I reconnected highly this place.

Well... I came to a wedding event, their event hall seemed alright, and lunch service was actually quite delicious, with food served on banana leaves. However... Despite spaciousness, the hotel facilities were poorly maintained. The towels came dirty, and linens were thin, pilling, and smelled of smoke. I could very well have been sleeping in my jeans for the scratchiness of the linens. The washroom was quite shocking. Asides from calcification caked onto the sinks/mirrors, the entire bathtub and shower walls were covered in mold on every crevice available. It actually looked like a scene from Silent Hill. Their shower bucket was brown on the inside... Not only... We had 2 surprise guests (cockroaches). First one falling from the ceiling of the bathroom, and I don't even know where the second one came from but it was just hanging out on the bathtube ledge behind the curtains. For fear of more uninvited roommates, we slept with our lights on. I didn't even catch a picture of the bathtub/shower as I was busy quarantining our friend here. Of course, I just gave up my shower that night. Outside 2 bars of hand soap, there were no hand/face/hair towels available, no toiletry kits... Our host for the wedding said she had specifically requested particular rooms ahead of time, and despite the agreement, we were placed in random rooms. Front desk seemed confused with arrangements despite having clear guest lists made and in front of them. It seems for day events this place may still be acceptable but, I definitely wouldn't recommend staying overnight.

The electric kettle was unusable, and the air-conditioning system appeared old and inefficient. Internet connectivity was notably slow, which affected routine work and communication requirements. The complimentary breakfast lacked variety and adequacy, further adding to the disappointment. Overall, the hotel requires significant improvement in maintenance, service delivery, and amenity quality to justify its pricing structure.
