DON'T TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS AS MOST OF THEM ARE COMPLETELY FAKE AND MENTIONED BY THEIR OWN STAFFS . I am writing this to raise a serious complaint regarding my recent stay at The View Delhi hotel, which I had booked for [check-in date 30/08/2025 check-out date 1/09/2025] via the Goibibo app. Unfortunately, my experience was not only deeply disappointing but also completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be a 3-star property. Please find below a detailed summary of the numerous issues I faced: Key Issues Faced: Room Not Available Upon Arrival Despite having a confirmed booking, I was told no rooms were available at check-in. I was then arranged to stay in another property, which lacked basic amenities such as: No Wi-Fi No geyser No towel or toiletries It was a non-smoking room despite requesting smoking I still had to pay for this substandard arrangement. Laptop Damaged Due to Plumbing Issues During my stay, my laptop got damaged because of a plumbing leak in the room. This is completely the hotel’s responsibility, and I demand compensation for this loss. Unsanitary & Unacceptable Room Conditions The next evening, after multiple complaints, I was finally moved to the room I had originally booked. However, the condition of that room was shocking: Period stains all over the mattress No cupboard No towels or toiletries again AC not functioning This level of hygiene is beyond unacceptable. Rodent Infestation A rat was running around the room. I tried calling the front desk for help late at night, but no one answered. This posed serious health and safety concerns. False Information on the Goibibo App The amenities listed during booking were misleading: No cupboard as promised Non-functional air conditioning No Wi-Fi or basic hygiene provisions This is clearly misrepresentation and fraudulent advertising. Unprofessional & Rude Staff Behavior The staff were extremely rude and dismissive. When I raised valid concerns, I was told: "This is a 3-star hotel, not a 5-star, don’t expect everything." This tone and behavior are absolutely unprofessional. No Customer Support from Goibibo I attempted to reach out to Goibibo customer support multiple times via the app, but it has been impossible to speak with a human representative or register my complaint properly.
