I recently booked a deluxe room at OPO Essential Sec 21, only to find that there was nothing "deluxe" about it. The room was small, cramped, and smelled of moisture, with no proper ventilation. It was disappointing, to say the least. I have stayed at this place on three previous occasions, and each time before booking, I made sure to inspect the room to ensure it met my expectations. This time, I trusted them and booked without a prior room check— big mistake. They allocated me the worst possible room, located at the back of the hotel, right next to the kitchen/cooking area, with a generator placed right outside the window, making it even more unpleasant. To make matters worse, I paid more for this room compared to my previous visits. I strongly advise future guests to ask for a room tour before booking; otherwise, you might end up in a room like mine. Also, I find their five-star reviews highly questionable. Each time I stayed, they were adamant about receiving a positive rating. I never gave them one, and now, after this experience, I’m glad I didn't. During my previous stays, I found their rooms to be below average at best— spiders and mosquitoes were common, as the ventilation ducts were broken with no cover. I let that slide, but this time, their shady room allocation tactics have shown their lack of seriousness when it comes to returning customers. They deserve this honest review, and I hope it helps others make an informed decision.

Decent infra but pathetic service. Hotel voucher mentioned Balcony room but they didn't give. For 2 days continuously I gave them the keys in the morning to do housekeeping, room cleaning, bedsheet changing etc. but they didn't do despite multiple daily follow-ups. Shower isn't working, complained multiple times but neither fixing it nor changing the room. If you're planning to stay long, avoid this hotel as they won't clean your room!

Earlier, this used to be my fixed place to stay in Gurgaon. When it was newly built, the property was well-maintained, rates were reasonable, and the staff was excellent which made me come back frequently. But over time, the prices have almost doubled, and the attitude of the staff has also become rude and inflexible, maybe because the hotel became successful. During my recent stay, I noticed 40–50% of the rooms are lying empty, probably due to the same issues, and maintenance has gone down badly. In my last visit, there were ants in the bathroom and room, fungus on the walls, and the kettle wasn’t working. Even after complaining 3–4 times, only the kettle was replaced but no action was taken for the ants. I visit Gurgaon for at least 5 days every month for office purposes and would genuinely love to stay here again if they bring back the same management standards and reasonable pricing they started with.

I recently stayed at opo essential, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. My room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the daily housekeeping service.
