A very disappointing stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel. The suite was old and worn-down, the bedding and towels were dirty and the reception had to be called multiple times to get the bedding and towels changed. Go somewhere else, go to Empressa, it is literally 2 mins away.

I stayed at this hotel in two terms and had a satisfactory stay. The room, location, amenities and facilities are really good. I cant thank enough Ms Ayesha and especially Mr Chetan for their support and hospitality. Since my wife was recovering from a surgery and resting at the hospital, Mr Chetan and the chef himself offered us to cook meals not included in their menu. We both were very pleased with this. However, there are rooms to improve. the staff members are cordial, but I would suggest a bit more monitoring from the management. Replenishing the water bottles, tea items and toiletries needs stricter discipline. The food menu needs a bit more thought and expansion. With some improvement in room service, this hotel can go miles. I would recommend to anyone and will take services again, without any hesitation.

Pathetic in all respects Rooms: Two rooms were booked for a family in advance, but they allotted on separate floors 305 & 201. The check in time is weird i.e. 3 PM, conventionally it should have been somewhere between 12 to 2 PM. The rooms are good but not maintained properly. Many of the lights are not working including over mirror of washroom, so making it almost impossible to use for shaving and make up. One of the intercom has some issues. Food & Service: The food is average in taste. We ordered for a veg platter. First of all there was a reluctance to take the order with some excuses like tandoor is not working so starter and roti can't be served. In fact Paratha was mentioned in the platter, which we brought out to their notice. We also agreed for the starter whichever was available. When the platter was served then dal and paneer veg were missing, and after reminding then they put a lame excuse that the Chef might have forgotten. After that they served dal after more than 15 minutes by the time the food was already cold, and they again missed the paneer veg which was never served. The next morning breakfast was average and instead of masala dosa they served onion dosa. Sambhar was pretty off the taste. Then we ordered for tea pot (priced exorbitantly at 500+), but it was served in room in open cups and it got cold by that time. When we asked for the reasons then it was told that teapot/thermos is not available. Later we ordered for a fresh lime soda, but it was not seved for abnormallly 40-45 minutes. It was to be reminded to them. Then we had to go to the counter as intercom was not working properly to ask for the routine housekeeping of the room, but no one came for good 30 minutes. They don't give mineral water but give inhouse water in glass bottle of very small size quite insufficient for 2 guests, and every time you have to remind them to replace and again you have to remind at least once before you get the same. They keep only one towel for 2 guests, and you have to request to get another one. There have many other minor issues, if I start mentioning then it will fill many pages. It appears that management has either not set the standard operating procedure or does not bother for its compliance. Not recommended at all from any aspect. Better to avoid as it will spoil whole of your stay

Never have I ever been so thoroughly disappointed with my stay at a hotel in Mumbai! Had to unfortunately stay here as most other hotels nearby were sold out. There are so many red flags here that I don't even know where to start. The hotel is worn out, unhygienic, rusting and infested with rodents. The AC ducts in room has mouse the size of cats and they keep stomping in the duct. I had to pay almost 11-12K per night for this as there was no option. The booking staff Ayesha was the most rude reservations person I've ever spoken with in my life. The rates kept increasing after every call we made. Absolutely harrowing experience with The Svenska in Mumbai. Specially disappointed to know that it's run by someone who studied in A league colleges outside India and worked at marquee organisations. There are more that I experienced but this would suffice to share that you should avoid this place in all situations. The whole experience was extremely stressful and the worst I've experienced in over 30 years of my business travelling. The amenities, toiletries, quality of rooms, interiors were extremely poor. There was dust on almost all surfaces. Imagine paying the complete amount for booking made through Agoda in front of the hotel staff and then being told that your booking is not confirmed and that you'll be let known about the confirmation. Unbelievable and sad. Most pictures are very old and do not depict the current dilapidated and worn out status. A few helpful staff but overall a 1 out of 10.

Amazing food and outstanding hospitality! The highlight of our experience was the incredible dishes prepared by Chef Aziz Sheikh. His expertise and attention to detail truly elevate the dining experience. Gracious individual who takes hospitality to the next level. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable culinary journey!
